| Land turtles (Geochelone Carbonaria) inhabit Palm since many years. They usually live in the hills and are hard to be seen. A turtle sanctuary had been set, few hundred yards out of the hotel area, where a dozen of them are fed every morning. |

The baby turtles have been collected, sent to Bequia turtle sanctuary for one year and had been released from Palm island beaches, in order to come back laying years here in few years. |
