IGUANAS
Iguana iguana is present in some dry islands of the Caribbean. Exclusively vegetarians, they usually hide in the bushes, but they may nest by time in the palm trees. Almost fluorescent green when very young, they turn brown when adults.
If the average size is under three feet, they may grow more than four feet. You may see them by the hills, if you really pay attention. They usually like to warm up at the sun, completely motionless, almost invisible, until you will hear a big noise very close to you, when they run away.
They are vegeterian, have a special appeal for hibiscus flowers. Whatever very wild and cautious, they can easily be turned in nice pets.
