Purple-clawed hermit crab or Soldier crab (Coenobita Clypeatus) inhabits always a shell, changing it when growing.

Land Crab or White Crab (Cardisoma Guanhumi) makes big holes, perfect for golf. They only move out of their holes by night. They are very good to eat.

Mangrove crab (Aratus Pisonii) very tiny, but there are thousands, doing very little holes (about ¼ inch) in the soft and wet areas.
