Another species migrates yearly on Palm Island

PALM
HOMEOWNERS

In order to get some cash for the resort building, John Caldwell subleased lots of land
(paid 99 years one time) on which a total of 21 private homes have been built.
Most of them have changed owner since origin.
The first one was the now named "Pepsi Peak" hidden on top of the West hill. (up)

Whatever there are very few left from the original migration, some homeowners still come here since more than 30 years.

Migration period is February for almost all of them.

Some nests are very casual Others worth millions
They usually spend the first week of their stay fixing their home , the second to buy provisions, the third to have cocktails and the last one to organize their departure.
The welcoming and farewell ceremony on the wharf is quite a nice tradition since many years.
The houses are empty most of the year, and some are available for rent.
